Pain Management Tips - Hip Pain
Dos:

Put cold packs to hip to reduce pain and swelling

Take a warm bath to reduce pain and prepare muscles for stretching

Lose weight if you’re overweight to relieve strain from the hip
-
Stay active to keep your joints flexible, try moderate cardio exercise such as swimming and cycling if possible
-
Use of painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen (Disclaimer: please be aware that patients need to have consultations with their doctors / GPs / physiotherapists regarding any intake and form of medication)
Don’ts:
-
Avoid bending and lying on that side of the hip to avoid direct pressure on hip
-
Avoid standing or sitting for long periods
